BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University Equestrian senior Shannon O’Keefe (Glastonbury, Conn.) has been named RWU Female Athlete of the Week after qualifying for the IHSA National Championship this past weekend.

Competing at the Zone 1 Championships at Mount Holyoke College this weekend, O’Keefe won the first-place ribbon at Open Fences over Carolyn Kelsey of the University of New Hampshire. The win for O’Keefe secured her berth to IHSA Nationals in Kentucky this upcoming May.
