Sharon Castelli was the first RWU female athlete in school history to finish her career with 12 varsity letters as a four-year member of each of the Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, and Softball teams. She helped the Volleyball team win the 1984 ECAC Division III Championship and achieve its first-ever national ranking, standing at 15^th in the nation. In addition, her #15 jersey number has been retired in volleyball. On the basketball court, she holds the school record for most assists in a season in basketball at 173 and stands tied for fifth all-time for career assists in basketball.
