Crowell named Pilgrim League Wrestler of the Week

BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University sophomore Collin Crowell (Hampstead, N.H.) on has been awarded the honor of Pilgrim League Wrestler of the Week. At the 165-pound weight class, Crowell went 4-0 in the previous week last week with three technical falls, improving his record to 20-3 on the season.

Crowell began the week with a 15-0 technical fall win over Joe Catino of Bridgewater State in the team's 30-13 win. At the NEWA-Metro Conference Challenge Duals, he finished the day a perfect 3-0. He pinned Jesse Capello-Colon of Hunter in the opener, then won by technical fall 16-0 over Ryan Riegert of TCNJ. He then concluded the the day with an 8-0 victory over Chris Amro of NYU.

Roger Williams will travel to Providence this Saturday for meets against Rhode Island College and Southern Maine.
