SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Roger Williams University Men's Tennis sophomore Zack Bussiere (Colchester, Conn.) and freshman Eric Laboissonniere (Cumberland, R.I.) have been selected by the Commonwealth Coast Conference as Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.

Bussiere led the Hawks to a 2-0 week against in-conference opponents. Against Nichols, Bussiere contributed to the team's 5-4 victory as he recorded a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 victory at #1 singles over Brandon Roode. With the help of partner Laboissonniere in #3 doubles, also recognized by the CCC as Rookie of the Week, Bussiere recorded an 8-0 victory. In the Hawk's 9-0 victory over Curry, Bussiere posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at #1 singles and another victory with Lasboissonniere at #2 doubles recording a 8-3 victory.

Laboissonniere recorded a 1-6, 6-1, 7-5 win over Nichols' Carlos De La Cruz at #4 singles. Teaming up with Bussiere, Laboissonniere also notched an 8-0 victory at #3 doubles against Nichols and an 8-3 doubles victory at the #2 position against Curry. 

The Hawks will take on Eastern Nazarene College on Tuesday.
