Men’s Cross Country places 17th at UMass-Dartmouth Invitational

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. On Saturday the Roger Williams Men's Cross Country team placed 17th out of 37 teams with a total of 516 points, a team time of 2:16:13 and an average time of 27:14.60.

Jonathan Ellis (Yonkers, N.Y.) led the hawks finishing 58th with a time of 26:14.  Teammate Mitch Leveille was close behind finishing 65th with a time of 26:21.

Other Hawks in action earning points for the team were Thomas Maybury (East Longmeadow, Mass.) in 133rd with a time of 27:48, Andrew Gallant (Merrimac, Mass.) in 139th with a time of 27:53, Jeff Pini (Wellesley, Mass.) in 143rd with a time of 27:57, and David Freiman (Sea Cliff, N.Y.) finished in 28:31 that put him in 153rd.

The Hawks will be traveling to Wenham, Mass. next for the Pop Crowell Invitational which is hosted by Gordon College on October 3rd, with the start time scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
