The athletic facilities at Roger Williams University center around the 124,000 square-foot Campus Recreation Center, completed in 2003. In addition to recreation facilities, the building serves as a hub for many student activities, including Student Programs & Leadership, the campus radio station WQRI, the Student Senate Chambers, and club offices.

Highlighting the athletic facilities within the Campus Recreation Center are:
- An 8,500+ square-foot fitness center on two floors
- The Aquatics Center
- Two multi-purpose dance studios, also home to exercise classes
- A central gymnasium that seats 1,200 for home events
- A convertible racquetball/squash court
- The Field House, utilized for team practices, intramurals, and large campus events
The campus’ athletic facilities extend outdoors, including:
- Bayside Field, home to the soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse programs and intramurals
- Paolino Field, home to the softball and baseball programs
- The Richard L. Bready Mount Hope Bay Sailing and Education Center
- The RWU Waterfront, the center for sailing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding
- North Field, a grass practice field
- Lower Field, home to the men's and women's rugby clubs
- An 18-hole disc golf course

Cross Country home races are held at Colt State Park on Route 114 in Bristol, Rhode Island.
Equestrian home shows are held at Nora Harris Equestrian in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
Men’s Golf practices and competes at home tournaments at The Aquidneck Club in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
Track & Field practices and home meets are held at Portsmouth High School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
