NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Roger Williams Women's Cross Country team placed 16th at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational this Saturday with a total of 562 points, a team time of 1:43:12 and an average time of 20:38.40.
The Hawks were led by senior Emily Tran (Sharon, Mass.) who finished in 62nd place with a total time of 19:47.
Tran was helped out by her teammates who were able to finish 109th, 120th, 136th, 144th, 154th, 155th, and 170th, respectively. Susan Thaxter (Pepperell, Mass.) had a time of 20:35, Kaitlin Crowley (Beverly, Mass.) finished in 20:44, Lauren Ashby (Manchester, NH) came in with a time of 20:59, Katie O'Koren (Franklin, Mass.) had a time of 21:07, Samantha Buechner (Nashua, N.H.) finished in 21:19, Alyssa Donovan (Bridgewater, Mass.) was right behind at 21:20, and Clare Harmon (Guilford, Conn.) came in with a time of 21:29.
The Hawks team will be in action next at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College in Wenham, Mass., on October 3rd at 10:45 a.m.
