Pogmore transitioned into a starting pitcher last season after spending his freshman year as the team's primary closer. He made six starts last season, going 2-3 with a 5.36 ERA while leading the team with four saves and registering 41 strikeouts, second-best on the team. He held opponents to a .245 batting average which also led the Hawks. In his freshman year, Pogmore set the school record for lowest ERA in a season, finishing the year with a miniscule 0.36 ERA in 25.0 innings pitched.
The three captains helped pilot the Hawks to a 17-27 overall record that saw the Hawks come alive the CCC Tournament. After clinching a playoff berth, the Hawks made a run to the CCC Championship game, finishing a runners-up to Western New England University.
