BRISTOL, R.I. - RWU Volleyball senior Kristina Dolan (Glenmont, NY) earned Roger Williams Female Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance in the Hawk’s home-opener and recent weekend tournament at Springfield College. Dolan had a total of 51 kills on 100 swings for the week and posted a .420 hitting percentage.

Dolan racked up 9 kills the Hawk’s first game against Eastern Connecticut State University. Despite the 1-3 team loss, Dolan achieved a .474 hitting percentage.

At the Springfield College Tournament in Mass., Dolan recorded a total of 42 kills in four matches. She was named to the Springfield College Invitational All-Tournament Team for her strong play. She also had a total of 14 blocks and averaged 2.55 kills per game.

Dolan and the Hawks are back in action tonight hosting Emmanuel College in a 7p.m. match.
