BRISTOL, R.I. – Sophomore Jaclyn Doolin (Miller Place, N.Y.) earned RWU Female Athlete of the Week as she helped the RWU Softball Team to an undefeated record last week. Doolin posted two wins, including a shutout and 13 strikeouts in 12 innings pitched for the Hawks.

Against UMass-Dartmouth Thursday afternoon, Doolin needed just five innings to record her third shutout of the season, as RWU took the first game of the doubleheader, 8-0.

The following day against Wentworth Institute of Technology, Doolin battled a tough Leopards team for seven innings. She notched seven strikeouts in the tight 3-2 win – her seventh on the season.

Doolin and the Hawks look to extend their four-game winning streak Tuesday when they host Gordon College in a doubleheader under the lights beginning at 8 p.m.
