BRISTOL, R.I.- RWU freshman Dan Caruso (Tewksbury, Mass.) has been named the RWU Male Athlete of the Week after his performance on the soccer field against Framingham State and Gordon College last week.

In Wednesday’s non-league game against Framingham State, Caruso assisted on a game-tying goal in the 18^th minute before the Rams pulled away for the final victory. Later in the week at Gordon College he scored the Hawks’ lone goal to secure a 1-1 tie and improve the team’s unblemished conference record to 1-0-1.  

The Hawks are 1-5-1 overall and are set to play Slave Regina University this Wednesday on their home turf at 4 p.m.
