BRISTOL, R.I.—Roger Williams University women’s soccer team member #Laurin Pendelton# (Southwick, Mass.) has been named Female Athlete of the Week for her outstanding play in this past week’s two conference match ups.

In Tuesday’s game against cross-town rival, Salve Regina, Pendleton secured her third career hat trick.  She scored the game’s first goal at 10:45 with a breakaway from midfield before shooting it past the Seahawk’s goalie.  Pendleton also earned the Hawks’ last two goals in the final minutes of the game, securing the Roger Williams victory.

Pendleton proved an offensive threat, yet again, in Saturday afternoon’s triumph over Colby-Sawyer College.  She was one of three Hawks to score during the first half by sending a reverse header into the goal with 8:57 remaining before half-time. 

With Pendleton’s strong contribution, the Hawks improved their overall record to 5-3 (TCCC 4-0).  They look to extend their undefeated conference record on Wednesday, September 29^th against Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass.
