BRISTOL, R.I. - Sophomore Cameron Pimentel (Paget, Bermuda) has been selected as the RWU Male Athlete of the Week after his strong performance this past weekend at The Smith Trophy, a sailing regatta hosted by MIT.

Roger Williams finished in 2^nd place overall at the regatta which included a tough 26-team field. Pimental, along with sophomore Bianca Rom (Amityville, N.Y.) led the way for the Hawks finishing in 1^st place in A Division, while putting together a very impressive score of 39. The combined for six first place finishes and two second place finishes to secure 1^st place in their division.

Pimentel and the sailing team are in action next over the holiday weekend when they will take part in six regattas, one of which is hosted by Roger Williams.
