BRISTOL, R.I. – RWU sophomore Bradley MacDonald (Topsfield, Mass.) was named RWU Male Athlete of the Week after notching two goals and leading the Men’s Soccer team to an unbeaten 1-0-1 record last week.

In the Hawks’ first contest of the week, MacDonald scored just 45 seconds into the game, finishing a cross with his left foot past the Endicott keeper. The Gulls would score 20 minutes later, which would end the scoring for the day as RWU picked up its third draw in conference play.

In Saturday’s home contest, MacDonald scored his team-leading fifth goal, helping the Hawks to their sixth conference win, defeating Eastern Nazarene, 7-1. He tallied his marker in the 75th minute, scoring after an RWU corner kick.

MacDonald leads the team in goals scored, game-winning goals scored, shot percentage and ranks second on the team in points.

RWU returns to action Tuesday, hosting its final regular season game against Regis College, beginning at 3 p.m.
