BRISTOL, R.I. - RWU sophomore Mitch Leveille (North Kingston, R.I.) was named TCCC Male Runner of the Week and RWU Male Athlete of the Week after his performance Saturday at The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships at Colt State Park where he won the individual title while helping the team to its 10^th consecutive title.

Despite having an injury which held him out since October, Leveille was the first runner to cross the finish line at the Hawks home course. He finished the eight kilometer course in an impressive 27 minutes flat. Leveille also won the honor of TCCC Runner of the Year.

This marks Leveille’s second RWU Male Athlete of the Week award and his third TCCC Male Runner of the Week award. He and the Hawks will compete next Saturday at Colt State Park for the ECAC Championship beginning at 11 a.m.
