BRISTOL, R.I. – RWU Freshman guard Ari Renwick (Westwood, Mass.) earned The Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week and RWU Female Athlete of the Week after posting 24 points, including a perfect 9-for-9 from the line, in the Hawks’ two games last week.

Renwick tallied seven points and three assists in just 19 minutes of play Thursday on the road against a strong Rhode Island College team. Two days later she notched a career-high 17 points, shooting 50% from the field with 4-of-8 shooting. She also added two assists and three rebounds to help RWU to the TCCC victory over Nichols College.

Renwick and the Hawks return to action Tuesday when they host Western New England College in a 6 p.m. TCCC contest.
