Hannah Pirez (Bolton, Mass.) has been selected as the Roger Williams University Female Athlete of the Week. The junior shortstop from helped the team achieve four wins of the week, as the Hawks swept Gordon College and New England College in a pair of doubleheaders.

Pirez batted .500 on the week, with seven hits in 14 at-bats in the four games including three doubles and a homerun. She had three RBIs in the games and finished the week with seven runs scored. Pirez also finished with a .588 on-base percentage and an impressive .929 slugging percentage.

Roger Williams will be traveling up to Biddeford, Maine to take on the University of New England today at 3:00 p.m. to close out the regular season.
