Roger Williams University Athletics

Sophomore men’s soccer player Dan Caruso (Tewksbury, Mass.) has been named the Roger Williams University Male Athlete of the Week.  Caruso helped to lead the team to a 2-0-0 week.

Caruso had an outstanding performance in the Hawks first Commonwealth Coast Conference contest of the season, an 8-1 victory over Eastern Nazarene.  Kicking off the scoring with a penalty kick in the sixth minute, Caruso collected his first career hat trick before the end of the first half with goals in the 11th and 31st minutes as well.  Carusa also assisted on Billy Kissane’s goal in the 21st minute to give him seven points on the day.
