Senior defender Michelle Meagher (Sudbury, Mass.) is the Roger Williams University Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on October 23, 2011.

Meagher anchored a Hawks defense that posted back to back shutouts in a 2-0 week.  Meagham led a back line that limited Salve Regina and Gordon to three shots on goal apiece.  To date, the Hawks have posted eight shutouts and have help opponents to 0.92 goals per game.

The Hawks (11-6-1, 8-1-0 in the CCC) host Nichols (6-8-2, 2-5-2) in a Commonwealth Coast Conference Quarterfinal match up at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 29.
