Alexandria Lanieri (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) has been chosen as RWU Female Athlete of the Week after helping the Women’s Basketball team to a pair of wins last week.

The Hawks defeated Nichols College and Wentworth Institute of Technology last week on the strength of Lanieri’s performance. The junior forward averaged 22.0 points and 12.0 rebounds with double-doubles in each game.

The Hawks close out the regular season tomorrow at Salve Regina.
