Roger Williams University Athletics

For the week ending October 14^th, Maddie Stein (Easton, Conn.) has been named as Roger Williams University Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Hawks home show this past weekend.

Stein finished in first place in both the Immediate Fences and Open Flat events during the competition.  She was also named Reserve High Point Rider for the day by officials at the show.  Stein’s victories contributed significantly to the Hawks’ 42-point victory, finishing 6 points ahead of Runner-up University of Rhode Island.

The RWU Equestrian team and Stein hope to continue their success as they compete at the Becker College Show in Worcester, Mass. on Monday, October 22^nd.
