John Ferguson won the 2012 CCC Cross Country Championship with an 8K time of 26:52.88 after taking the lead in the final 100 meters of the race. Ferguson’s victory by 2.59 seconds lifted the Hawks to the program’s 12th consecutive CCC title. His winning performance in the conference championship earned Ferguson CCC Runner of the Year accolades. He was also named CCC Runner of the Week and ECAC Runner of the Week.
