Zydanowicz capped off a sensational season by winning the 2012 CCC Individual Championship with a 6K time of 22:36.41, shaving 11 seconds off her own school record. The first-year cross country competitor finished 43 seconds ahead of the next closest runner and was recognized as CCC Runner of the Year and CCC Rookie of the Year for her outstanding performance. She led the Hawks to a third-place finish in the team competition. She was also named ECAC Runner of th Week.
