James LaCardi (Fair Haven, N.J.) of the Men’s Basketball Team has been selected as Roger Williams Male Athlete of the Week.  Men’s Basketball opened the season with two win and LaCardi was named Courtyard Marriott Tip-Off Tournament MVP.  Coach Mike Tully commented, “James played his role to perfection this past weekend.  He knocked down open shots and provided a spark with his effort and attitude.  His leadership has been outstanding for our team.”
