Alexandria Lanieri (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) of the Women’s Basketball Team has been named RWU’s Female Athlete of the Week.  Lanieri helped lead her team to a 2-0 week including RWU’s first conference win. In a 76-60 win over Western New England, Lanieri earned a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. She also dished out six assists, earned two steals, and recorded one block giving WNE its first conference loss of the year. Lanieri then went on to net nine points and grab six boards in Roger Williams’ 54-47 win over Brandeis.
