Roger Williams University sophomore midfielder Jessica Valenti (North Reading, Mass.) has been selected as Female Athlete of the Week. Valenti was  a factor in both goals late in the second half of a 2-1 victory over No. 16 Wheaton. In the 65th minute, Valenti buried a strike into the lower left corner to tie the game at one. The sophomore then set up the game-winning goal in the 83rd minute. Wheaton had previously only allowed 19 goals in 26 games last season, holding its opponents to 0.69 goals per game. The win is the first for RWU over Wheaton since 3-2 overtime win back in 1993.
