Roger Williams University sophomore forward James Sheldon (Amherst, N.H) was selected as Male Athlete of the Week. Sheldon played a key role in the Hawk's 2-0 record and helped his team capture the 2013 Squad Locker Classic tournament championship. At the tournament, Sheldon tallied a total of seven points, netting three goals and one assist. In a 3-1 victory over Saint Joseph's (Maine), the sophomore was a factor in two of RWU's three goals, scoring one and assisting on the other. In a 2-0 win over Skidmore, Sheldon scored both goals to lead his team to their first tournament championship since the 2011 season.
