Roger Williams University freshman defensive specialist Darian Tredennick (Houston, Texas) was named RWU Athlete of the Week. Tredennick recorded four double-digit dig performances, including two twenty plus dig performances in the Hawks 4-0 week.  Tredennick had an impressive 23 digs in the team’s 3-1 victory over regionally ranked Bowdoin (No. 3).  In a 3-2 victory over Wellesley, the defensive specialist recorded 20 digs.  In a 3-0 victory over regionally ranked Colby (No. 15), the freshman earned 13 digs and then went on to record 11 digs in a 3-0 win over Brandeis. On the week, Tredennick recorded 4.47 digs per set and contributed nine assists.
