Elizabeth Flaherty (Sloatsburg, N.Y.) had a strong weekend for the Hawks as they split the two games on day two of the University of Massachusetts-Boston Invitational. In the win against UMASS Boston, Flaherty led the way with 11 kills for the Hawks to go along with seven digs. In the second game of the day, Flaherty went for seven kills and 15 digs in the loss against Trine in the first ever meeting between the schools.
