BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University Athletic Department has named Danny Downes, Male Athlete of the Week.  The 149 lb. sophomore wrestler took the Scott Viera Invitational title this past weekend picking up two major decision while advancing to the bracket final.  In the finals Downes avenged a loss that dropped him out of the regional championship last season.  For his performance Downes was named Most Outstanding Lightweight Wrestler of the Tournament.
