BRISTOL, R.I.- Junior Kristina Dolan (Glenmont, N.Y.) was named Roger Williams University Female Athlete of the Week Monday after leading the volleyball team with a .367 hitting percentage in the Hawks’ two wins last week.

 

Wednesday night RWU faced Gordon College, a team holding a perfect 6-0- record in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. Dolan registered six kills and zero errors on nine swings, helping RWU to the 3-1 road victory. She also added four blocks along the way.

 

Dolan continued her strong play Saturday against a visiting Suffolk University. The 6-0 middle hitter notched a team-high eight kills on the night along with another four blocks in the 3-0 win.

 

Dolan and the Hawks are in the final stretch of their regular season, travelling to Coast Guard Thursday for a 4 p.m. non-conference contest. Conference playoffs begin Tuesday, Nov. 4 at a site to be determined.
