BRISTOL, R.I.- Senior Kevin Clark (Feeding Hills, Mass.) was named RWU Male Athlete of the Week after leading the men’s cross country team to its eighth consecutive The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship Saturday afternoon.

Clark secured his third straight TCCC Runner of the Year award after winning the championship race. He posted a time of 26:05, besting second place by 32 seconds.

The Hawks edged Gordon College for the title, totaling 30 points while the Fighting Scots totaled 34 points.

Clark and the team are next in action, Saturday, at their home course, Colt State Park, for the ECAC Championships.
