BRISTOL, R.I. – Junior wrestler Zackery Weinrich (Newton, N.J.) was named the Pilgrim League’s Wrestler of the Week and RWU Male Athlete of the Week after his outstanding performance at the 26^th Annual Bomber Invitational at Ithaca College last weekend.

Weinrich posted a perfect 5-0 record over the two-day tournament, winning the heavyweight division with a 6-1 decision over Ithaca’s Dave Sbriscia. He helped to Hawks set a new record of six place finishers in the event, tying a team record with a fifth-place finish overall.

Weinrich and the Hawks return to action this Saturday at the Roger Williams University Invitational. Competition begins in the Recreation Center Fieldhouse at 10 a.m.
