Scott Pellerin returns for his 17th season as an assistant coach with the RWU Wrestling program.
Pellerin began his journey as a Hawk with the wrestling program in 2002 and has continued to be an integral part of RWU Wrestling ever since. Pellerin ended his career at RWU as a two-time NWCA Scholar All-American, three-time Pilgrim League All-Star, three-time Pilgrim League Scholar All-Star, and three-time All-New England wrestler. In his senior year, he received the senior mathematics award as well as the Co-Male Sharon Castelli Award for dedication, leadership, and courage.
He graduated from Roger Williams University in 2005 with his degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics. Pellerin is currently a Mathematics teacher at his alma mater Mt. Hope High School in Bristol, R.I, where he was named 2008 Teacher of the Year. As a high school wrestler, he compiled a 133-25 record, was a two-time state champion and a four-time member of the academic all-state team for the Huskies. He has been an assistant coach with RWU since his graduation in 2005 and has been with them every step of their way through their journey to the top.
Pellerin resides in Seekonk with his wife Jenna and their two daughters, Lillian and Abigail.
