BRISTOL, RI-The women's swimming and diving team piled up 965 points at the 2006 CCC Invitational as they coasted to a first place finish in the five team field.

After the Hawks finished third in the 200-yard free relay, Shari Rothgeb (Denver, CO) won the 500-yard free (5:44.36) to continue the quick start by the Hawks. Alison Baker (Hopewell Junction, NY), Jenny Dill (Rocky River, OH), Kaitlyn Friedrich (Stratham, NH) and Erin Leonhardt (Brewster, MA ) added a victory in the 400-yard medley relay (4:32.08).

Cara Naylor (Windsor, CT) won the one-meter diving (329.00). Dill added an individual win in the 400-yard IM (5:06.94). Alexia Aron (Phoenix, AZ ) added a victory in the 1650-yard free (19:46.57). The Hawks also tallied eight second place finishes. Dill placed second three times (200-yard IM, 100-yard breast and 200-yard breast) and Rothgeb earned two second places (200-yard free and 1650-yard free).

The Hawks return to action on December 9 when they travel to Bridgewater State.
