BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Women's Tennis team keeps its winning streak alive with a 7-2 win over Nichols College Tuesday afternoon. The victory is the Hawks' tenth in a row, while improving their conference record to 9-0.
 
Kelsey Parente (Barkhamstead, Conn.) and Haley McCraven (Ipswich, Mass.) remain undefeated in #3 doubles play after their 8-0 win over Chelsey Cutting (Holyoke, Mass.) and Kelsey Urbanetti (Glastonbury, Conn.). Parente also won her #4 singles pairing against Urbanetti by the scores 6-2, 6-0, improving her record to 9-1 in singles play.
 
Caitlyn Leone (Irvington, N.Y.) and Jessica Manners (East Longmeadow, Mass.) also preserved their five-match winning streak in #1 doubles with an 8-4 win over Jessica Porter (Melrose, Mass.) and Molly McGuire (East Sandwich, Mass.).
 
Joanna Nettelfield also added another victory in singles play, with the 6-1, 6-0 victory over Emily Levine (Riverside, R.I.), Megan Harrington picked up her third win of the year, defeating Cutting 7-5, 6-1. Nettelfield also paired up with Leah Ribchinsky (Ivoryton, Conn.) for the 8-3 win over Levine and Katherine Bishop (Fitchburg, Mass.).
 
Nichols' Porter and McGuire had both Bison wins in singles play. Porter defeated Leone in a tightly contested #1 singles match, pulling out the 4-6, 7-5, 10-3 win, while McGuire earned her 12th #2 singles win of the year, going 6-0, 6-4 over Ribchinsky.
 
Roger Williams (10-1, 9-0 TCCC) will look for its 11th consecutive win when the Hawks host Regis College Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
