Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team won its second straight TCCC match with a 7-2 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology Monday afternoon.
Brad Bolte (Augusta, N.J.) had two wins on the day, one of which came in a thrilling three-set match against Ricardo Robiglio (Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela), where he defeated Robiglio 6-4, 1-6, 10-7. In #3 doubles, he paired up with Brian Kennedy (Cheshire, Conn.) to take an 8-1 decision over Ross Lyons (Madison, Conn.) and Cato Hui (Randolph, Mass.). Kennedy also won his #6 singles match against Hui in straight sets, taking the victory 6-0, 6-0.
Daniel Roberts (Milford, Conn.) improves to 3-1 in singles in conference play with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Andrew Fouriner (Millis, Mass.), while Kyle Baker (Bolton, Conn.) defeated John Kelly 6-3, 6-3 in #4 singles.
Roger Williams (7-6, 3-1 TCCC) will hit the road to take on Western New England College Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Wentworth (1-6, 1-5 TCCC) will travel Wednesday to play Curry College at 3:00 p.m.
