BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Women's Tennis picked up another Commonwealth Coast Conference win Saturday afternoon with a 7-2 victory over Western New England College.

Freshman Amanda Wolfe (Mansfield, Mass.) and sophomore Leah Ribchinsky (Ivoryton, Conn.) both improve their conference records to 2-0 in singles and doubles play with a pair of wins each.

Wolfe earned a 6-4, 6-1 win over Kelly Murname (Cheshire, Conn.) in #4 singles and an 8-3 win in #3 doubles with Kristin Dono (West Boylston, Conn.) over Colleen Swan (Milford, Conn.) and Victoria Pratt (Stanfordville, N.Y.). Ribchinsky took a 6-3, 6-2 decision over Kristen Ayers (Acton, Mass.) in #1 singles, then won her #1 doubles match with Lily Osowski (Byfield, Mass.). The duo defeated Ayers and Nicole DeSimone (Feeding Hills, Mass.) by a 9-7 score.

For the Golden Bears, DeSimone had Western New England's lone win in singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 decision over Osowski. In #2 doubles, Murname and Nicole Freed (Jersey Shore, Pa.) won 8-3 over Katie Wilmes (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Caitlin Osepchuk (Ocean Grove, N.J.).

Roger Williams (2-1, 2-0 TCCC) will travel to Nichols College Wednesday for a 3:30 match, while Western New England (0-3, 0-3 TCCC) hits the road for a 4:00 p.m. match against Springfield College.
