WESTON, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Women's Tennis team picked up another conference win with a 7-2 victory over Regis College Friday afternoon.

Katie Wilmes (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Amanda Wolfe (Mansfield, Mass.) each won their singles matches without dropping a set. Wilmes swept her #3 match against Georgia Cowart, while Wolfe followed suit in her #4 match against Ally Kuchera.

The Hawks' Melissa Perry (Bristol, R.I.) earned her first win of the season, taking a 6-1, 6-0 #6 singles match over Hsiu-Yin Hsiao.

For Regis, Megan McCarthy had a hand in both of the Pride's wins, with a 6-4, 6-2 decision over Leah Ribchinsky (Ivoryton, Conn.) in #1 singles. She then gained an 8-5 victory with Cowart in #1 doubles over Ribchinsky and Lily Osowski (Byfield, Mass.)

Roger Williams (3-2, 3-1 TCCC) will be back in action tomorrow afternoon with a 12:00 p.m. matchup with Endicott College, while Regis (0-5, 0-4 TCCC) travels to Colby-Sawyer College for a noon meeting.
