WENHAM, Mass. – A late goal helped push the Roger Williams University Women's Soccer team past Gordon College Tuesday afternoon, as the Hawks edged the Fighting Scots by a 1-0 margin.

Senior midfielder Kristen O'Gorman (Tyngsboro, Mass.) knocked in a pass from freshman forward Katie Fusaro (Hopkinton, Mass.) with only 1:36 left in the game to give the Hawks a late one-goal lead that would ultimately prove to be the game winner.

The Fighting Scots' junior goalie Abby Ytzen (Des Moines, Iowa) had made six saves in the game prior to O'Gorman's goal.

Hawks' Junior keeper Jen Garside (Londonderry, N.H.) made a pair of saves in the game for her fifth shutout victory of the season.

Roger Williams (5-2-0, 3-1-0 TCCC) will head up to Colby-Sawyer College Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. contest, while Gordon (2-3-1, 2-1, TCCC) will take on Salem State College Thursday in a non-conference matchup.
