BEVERLY, Mass. - Roger Williams took four of six singles matches and two doubles matches to grab a 6-3 win over host Endicott College in TCCC women's tennis action.  The loss drops the Gulls to 7-4 overall (7-2 TCCC) and snaps a five match win streak.   The Hawks move to 8-4 overall and 8-1 in conference play.

Tracy Klein (New City, N.Y.), Kristin Dono (West Boylston, Mass.), and Amanda Wolfe (Mansfield, Mass.) were all dual-winners for the visitors.  Klein posted a straight set (6-4, 6-1) win at number two singles before teaming with Wolfe for an 8-0 win at number two doubles.  Dono was a straight set winner (6-2, 6-0) at number six singles after grabbing an 8-5 win at number three doubles.

Junior Kate Cioffi (Essex, Vt.) won 7-5, 6-2 at number one singles after picking up the Gulls only doubles point with classmate Emily Annis (Hampton, N.H.).

Freshman Melanie Weinick (Colchester, Conn.) improved to 7-1 in singles play after earning a hard-fought (7-6, 6-7, 10-8) victory in three sets.

The Gulls travel to Colby-Sawyer on Tuesday for the first of two straight conference matches to close out the regular season.  The Hawks travel to Curry College on the same day for a 3:30 pm start.
