Box Score BEVERLY, Mass. — The Roger Williams University Field Hockey team suffered a 4-2 setback to Endicott College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday night at North Field.
Junior forward Brittany Bushey (Pittsford, Vt.) broke a single-game program record for most goals scored. Bushey registered all four goals, including a hat trick in the first half, to also become the first student-athlete in Endicott's 24-year history to tally eight points in a single game.
Seven points in a single game was the previous Gulls' record held by Hannah Thornberg and Melissa Enright during the 2012 season.
Endicott leads the all-time series, 7-1, dating back to the 2013 season. The Gulls have outscored the Hawks, 30-7 in the all-time series history.
Senior goalkeeper Cheka Ventura (Lawrence, Mass.) stopped one shot as she improved to 8-8 (7-3 CCC) on the season. Sophomore forward Sophia Cogliano (Saugus, Mass.) registered two assists on the night for just first time in her career in a single game.

Mya Lunn (Marion, Mass.) made a season-high 13 saves as she fell to 3-11 on the year. Junior midfielder
Juliana Miccile (Upton, Mass.) got the Hawks on the board in the 38th minute on a feed from senior midfielder
Meghan Curran (West Milford, N.J.). Miccile tallied her fourth goal of the season, while Curran picked up her second assist on the year. Freshman defender
Alex Coppinger (Guiderland, N.Y.) notched her first career goal in the 43rd minute.
Endicott (8-8, 7-3 CCC) travels to Dudley, Mass. to take on Nichols on Friday, October 21 at 6:00 p.m. Roger Williams (3-11, 3-7 CCC) hosts UMass Dartmouth on Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m. in a non-conference matchup.
