Bristol, R.I.- The Roger Williams University wrestling team defeated Rhode Island College Friday night 36-6. The Hawks also celebrated elven seniors Friday night who have put so much into the sport and into Roger Williams University.
 
The Hawks started off strong with a win from Nick Barbaria (Scarsdale, N.Y.) in 125 followed by Jean- luc Lemiuex (Derry, N.H.) defeating Stephen Masma in 133 brining in four points. The points kept coming in with wins from Justin Cochran (Paramus N.J.) in 141 with two points and Daniel Downes (Houston, TX) in 149 with four points won by riding time. The Hawks had two big wins by Alec Golner ( (Tyngsborough, MA) who brought in elven points in 165 and senior captain, Danny Ressler (Hillsdale, N.J.) brought in fourteen points in 175. Senior captain David Welch (Salem, N.H.) defeated Victor Zabalu in 197 bringing in twenty points with a technical fall. That Hawks defeated the Anchorman with a final score of 36-6.
 
The Hawks compete against Harvard and Brown on February 14^th in Providence R.I. at 2:30pm
