Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University Women's Tennis team stepped out of CCC play Monday afternoon and came away with a 7-2 non-conference win over Suffolk University.
 
Allie Grinavic (North Attleboro, Mass.) and Gabrielle Riley (Barnstable, Mass.) paired up at #2 doubles for an 8-0 win over Isabel Rathlev and Aidiana Sagyndykova. At #3 doubles, Jessica Magliato (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Caroline McCarthy (Carver, Mass.) rolled to an 8-1 win over Meagan French and Jacquelyn Nakamura. Julia Akerman (Greenwich, Conn.) and Kathryn Hughes (Westford, Mass.) wrapped up the doubles sweep with an 8-4 against Valentina Medina and Danlyn Medou.
 
At singles, RWU ended up taking four of the six matches over the Rams. McCarthy and Ali Stankiewicz (Brunswick, Maine) each earned 6-0, 6-0 wins at #6 and #4 over Elena Cisneros Garci and Christina Texidor, respectively. At #3, Akerman took down Medou 6-1, 6-0, while Taryn Roche (Greenlawn, N.Y.) defeated Rathlev at #5 by the same score.
