How It Happened
In the first half of regulation, Wentworth's Gosselin scored off of a penalty kick to give them a 1-0 lead. It wasn't until the second half that there was another goal. There was a defensive mishap in which the Leopards were credited with a team goal to put another point on the scoreboard. With under two minutes left, Hawks Sanchez hit a one timer from Panagiotidis to add cut the lead in half but they ran out of time before they could score another. The Hawks conclude their 2019 season with a record of (8-6-5, 3-2-3) and they will gear back up for their off season come spring.
