How It Happened
Western New England went on top early, taking a 10-4 lead in the first two minutes. The Hawks would tie it up at 15 apiece, but a bucket by Alex Sikorski put WNE back up, and the Golden Bears would hold on to that lead for the rest of the half.
In the second half, the Golden Bears would extend their lead to 18 two minutes into the period. The double-digit lead proved too much for Roger Williams to overcome. RWU managed to pull within nine in the final minute of the game but the Hawks could not fully mount the comeback.
