WALTHAM, Mass.—The Roger Williams Men's Soccer team defeated William Paterson University 1-0 in the Brandeis Classic Invitational on a Saturday afternoon.
Hawks Highlights
- Colby Decker (Colchester, Conn.) scored the winning goal for the Hawks on a free kick from 20 yards out late in the second half.
- RWU outshot the Bears 14 to 13 and recorded five saves to their four.

- Senior Kyle Quigley (Columbus, N.J.) collected four saves for the Pioneers.
- Chris Fuentes (Red Bank, N.J.) and Kyle Adams (Bordentown, N.J.) both had three shots on goal for the day.

th minute, the Hawks scored their first goal of the season on goalkeeper Quigley off of a free kick to give RWU their first win. Despite defensive efforts from the Pioneers, the Hawks pulled
away with the win.
