• RWU swept doubles 3-0 to create an early lead with victories from Alessia Cahoon (Dedham, Mass.)/Heidi Martin (Scituate, Mass.), Jessica Magliato (New Rochelle, N.Y.)/Emma Place (Francestown, N.H.), and Taryn Roche (Greenlawn, N.Y.)/Riley Spillane (Easton, Mass.).
• Cahoon swept her opponent in singles play 6-0, 6-0.
• Roche, Martin, Place, Magliato, and Morgan Crimmins (Boston, Mass.) also won their singles matches.
