How It Happened
The Hawks did not have one of their better shooting nights, as RWU shot only 37.5 percent from the field in the game. A strong first-half run by Salve Regina put Roger Williams in a significant deficit that the team could not climb out of.
With the score tied 5-5 in the first half, Salve Regina used a three-minute 13-1 run to take a 12 point lead halfway through the first period. The Seahawks would go up by as many as 15 before taking a 34-23 lead into the second half.
The Hawks were unable to mount the comeback in the second half against Salve Regina. The Seahawks took their largest lead of the game in the period, going up by as many as 19 in the half
