WORCESTER, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team erased a 21-point deficit in the second to emerge with a 71-66 in over Worcester State Thursday afternoon.

How It Happened
The Hawks got off to a rough start, committing four turnovers and missing their first eight shots over the first six minutes of the game. Worcester State capitalized on this to take an early 10-0 lead.
Roger Williams pulled within five, but the Lancers used a 15-2 run to take an 18–point lead. RWU would only shoot 24 percent from the field in the half as Worcester State led by 19 entering halftime.

Eli Harris made it a 50-59 game with 5:53 to go.
His basket kicked off a 16-2 run capped off by a layup that turned a 12-point deficit into a two-point lead (63-61) with 2:20 left in the game. RWU would ice the game at the foul line, going 6-for-6 at the stripe in the final minute to earn the win.
